How it works
Set up the work. Assign the engineer. Complete the right certificate on site, with the evidence alongside it. Review, issue and give the customer a record they can check.
EICRs, EICs and Minor Works, connected to the job throughout.
The workflow
Nothing detached
The client, site, appointment, engineer and installation stay connected to the work. So do the certificates and the issued records you need to find later.
Certificate confidence
Protect the record behind the certificate, give the recipient a way to check it and make changes to the issued PDF detectable.

Certificate data is encrypted when stored in R1. Once a certificate is issued, later changes to the job don't rewrite what was issued.
Every issued certificate includes a QR code and verification link. Open either to check its key details against R1's issued record, without needing an R1 account.
Issued PDFs carry a digital seal. Compatible PDF software can check the seal and show whether the signed content has been altered since issue.
A record your customer can check, not just a PDF they have to take on trust.
Scan its QR code or open the verification link. Check that the certificate number, issuing business and the details shown match the document you received. No R1 account is needed for the record check.
Use the digital-signature information in compatible PDF software to check the seal and signed content. A valid online record check is not, by itself, proof that a separate PDF or printed copy has not been changed.
Verification concerns the issued record and document integrity. It is not an independent inspection of the installation or an endorsement of the work by R1.
